Over lunch.

"Wait why were you guys talking about me?"

"(pause)"

"No, wait. WHAT were you talking about me?"

"He was just asking me why am I not interested.... (pause)"

"Why you're not interested in me?"

"Something like that. Why I'm not interested in girls in the company."

"Okay....."

"I told him you are too valuable to lose."

"Huh?"

"I really think so."


I wanted to say what kind of stupid answer is that, but decided not to.

Why I say it's stupid. To me it's the way to try to bring you up in the process of bringing you down, if you know what I mean.


To be very frank, I found myself heaving a huge sigh of relief.
