10-Year Reunion

I think I like this kind of reunion.

I didn't really walk around talking and networking with everyone else like some of them did. Most of the time I just sat at one corner of the group and listened to what others had to say.

It's amazing how short 10 years seemed to be. Everyone looks the same, speaks the same, acts the same as 10 years ago, when we were in uniforms sitting in the small classroom.

I earned something from the reunion. The push factor to make me put one step forward.

It's rather scary. 4 doctors, 1 lawyer, 4 teachers, several accountants. Most of them looked happy with what they are doing.

We even had a round of serious gasping for breath amidst laughter when someone announced that she is running a small biz providing male strippers for events, right in the middle of CNA live vote counting for PE.


大家都實現了自己的夢想 我們還在這裡幹嘛??

That was what YT and me told each other several times, followed by laughter. 苦笑

So I did what I was supposed to do half a year ago. I finally submitted my resume to a few places.


Work is getting so unbearable that I really can't get myself to be motivated, initiative or positive. It's the people, the environment, the nature and the job itself. Basically everything.
